Details

An antique French oak farmhouse table with a thick plank top, softly rounded edges and corners, and four bold turned legs joined by an H-stretcher with shaped end rails. There's a drawer at each end with a black iron heart-shaped drop pull, and one drawer is fitted with a divided wooden tray, handy for flatware or napkins. The stripped, raw oak has a light, natural honey tone with knots, checks and a well-worn surface, making it a warm gathering table for a kitchen or dining room, or a generous desk or work table.

Details

  • Sourced from: France
  • Material: Oak
  • Dimensions: 86" W x 33" D x 30" H
  • Color / Finish: Stripped, raw oak in a natural light honey tone (unsealed)
  • Finish note: Because the oak is raw and unsealed, the surface isn't water-resistant as is. We recommend a clear protective finish, such as a clear coat or hardwax oil, before everyday dining use.
  • Storage: A drawer at each end; one is fitted with a divided wooden tray
  • Hardware: Black iron heart-shaped drop pulls with flower-shaped backplates
  • Base: Turned legs on block feet, joined by an H-stretcher with shaped end rails
  • Construction: Thick plank top with rounded edges and corners; pegged joints
  • Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, including dark marks, splits and checks in the top and legs, an inset wood patch (a repair) near one long edge of the top, a few small white specks and faint ring marks on the top, worn edges, and a few stains inside one drawer. Please review all photos carefully.
