Details

An antique Cornish pine dresser, the classic English farmhouse piece for displaying china and keeping linens close at hand. A deep, flared cornice crowns a pair of glazed doors, each with curved glazing bars arching across the top corners and rippled glass in front of a pine board back with shelves. Below, two drawers sit over a pair of paneled doors with arched top corners, all with white ceramic knobs, beneath a thick top with a softly rounded front edge. Turned roundels and long, round-ended moldings trim the stiles, and the whole piece stands on turned bun feet, mellowed to a warm honey tone.
