Vintage Hammersley Bone China Christmas Market Plate

A vintage English bone china plate by Hammersley, decorated with a painterly winter Christmas market scene. Shoppers in long coats and a top hat gather among the market stalls, two small Christmas trees stand on the wet, snowy square, and street lamps glow against a misty old town of domed buildings, all framed by a wide white rim and a fine gold band. Lovely on a plate stand or wall through the holidays, or gathered into a collection of older English china that comes out each Christmas.
